Yesterday ended the Järvi Academy Masterclass for Conductors with maestros Neeme Järvi, Paavo Järvi and Arkady Leytush. It was a pleasure to work with them and its sad that it ended. Now there will be a week of rest and then to Gstaad Academy in Switzerland.

Plans for Summer 2016

The Season with most orchestras and choirs have ended so it is time to reveal more exact details for this summer. Edmar Tuul is invited to 2 major masterclasses – International Järvi Academy in Estonia (Tallinn/Pärnu) and Gstaad Conducting Academy 2016 in Switzerland. It is going to be a long and hard summer of learning and developing but also glorious if we look at the teachers and orchestra list. It is quite hard to top that. This week the Baltic Sea Philharmonic started its preperation for there new concert tour called “Baltic Sea Landscapes”. Edmar Tuul is one of the lucky 4 young conductors who have been chosen as maestro Kristjan Järvis assistant conductor. In addition to the tour program each student condutor will be given a contemporary piece written during this week in the BYP LAB composers workshop. Welcome Everyone! On this homepage you will find information about a young Estonian conductor Edmar Tuul who has been awarded with the Gustav Ernesaks’ academic scholarship, which is one of the greatest recognitions that a young conductor can receive in Estonia. In addition he has received several rewards from the Estonian capital Tallinn: “Cultural developer and Contributer” and “Great deeds for young people of Tallinn and great deeds of young people of Tallinn“. Currently Edmar is the chief conductor of 4 choirs and 4 symphony orchestras in Estonia. Edmar has been a guest conductor infront of Gstaad Festival Orchestra, Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, Estonian National Youth Symphony Orchestra, Estonian Music teachers Symphony Orchestra, Estonian National Male Choir, Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir, Pärnu City Orchestra, the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre Sinfonietta orchestra and Mixed Choir and several other choirs.
