New season, New projects

New season is fully on its way and the first big projects are coming up. This season will especially interesting since 2017 is the so called “Laulupeo aasta” (“Song Celebration Year”). In every few years all singers, musicians and dancers all over Estonia come together in the summer and give a concert together. For more information please visit the homapage HERE. In addition you can also watch there videos to get the feeling of what we are doing here – Video 1 and Video 2. For the upcoming Song and Dance Celebration Edmar has been chosen to conduct the male choirs. This season Edmar also continues work as Chief conductor infront of – Tallinn Music High School Symphony Orchestra, Youth Orchestra Reaalmažoor, Ärkamisaja Tallinns Male Choir and Pärnu Regional Youth Symphony Orchestra. Also he is the assistant conductor for Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre Sinfonietta. In addition from this season he is the Chief conductor of Pärnu Music School orchestra. This season has also planned concerts with Tallinn Chamber Orchestra and the Estonian National Male Choir as guest conductor in Estonia and a concert with the Berlin Sinfonietta in Berlin (during prof. Yesterday ended the Järvi Academy Masterclass for Conductors with maestros Neeme Järvi, Paavo Järvi and Arkady Leytush. It was a pleasure to work with them and its sad that it ended. Now there will be a week of rest and then to Gstaad Academy in Switzerland.

Plans for Summer 2016

The Season with most orchestras and choirs have ended so it is time to reveal more exact details for this summer. Edmar Tuul is invited to 2 major masterclasses – International Järvi Academy in Estonia (Tallinn/Pärnu) and Gstaad Conducting Academy 2016 in Switzerland. It is going to be a long and hard summer of learning and developing but also glorious if we look at the teachers and orchestra list. It is quite hard to top that.
